Sculpting Sound
BCNSOUND is where brands find their voice. Located in the heart of Barcelona, this facility needed to serve two masters: the Composer, who needs a vibe to create emotion, and the Sound Designer, who needs absolute technical accuracy for broadcast.
The challenge was to create a "Cinematic Control Room" that feels like a high-end living room but performs like a mastering lab. Every texture and angle was chosen to inspire creativity while maintaining rigorous acoustic standards.

The Broadcast Standard
When mixing for TV and Cinema, "translation" is everything. The sound must travel from the studio to a smartphone speaker or a cinema hall without losing impact.
1. Reflection Free Zone (RFZ)
The front geometry of the room is angled specifically to direct early reflections away from the listening position. This creates a "phantom center" so solid that dialogue sits perfectly in the mix, crucial for commercial work.
2. Integrated Diffusion
Instead of ugly plastic panels, we integrated custom wooden diffusers directly into the rear walls. This scatters the surround energy, creating an immersive 3D soundstage that wraps around the composer without sounding "dead."
