More Than a Studio
Sarı Ev (The Yellow House) is a landmark in the music history of Istanbul. The vision was never to build a sterile laboratory for sound, but to create a Living Room for Music.
Nestled in a vibrant neighborhood, the studio retains the architectural charm of a traditional home while hiding a beast of a facility inside. It’s a place where traditional Turkish instruments blend seamlessly with modern electronic textures. The atmosphere is soaked in sunlight, coffee, and creativity, removing the "red light fever" that often stifles artists.

Organic Warmth
Converting a house into a world-class studio requires mastering the flow of sound through organic materials:
1. Wooden Diffusion
We utilized the building's original timber structure and added custom wooden diffusers. This creates a "golden" tone—rich in harmonics and pleasing to the ear—perfect for acoustic guitars, strings, and grand piano.
2. Isolation in the City
Istanbul is a loud city. We built a "room-within-a-room" floating structure to ensure that while the studio feels connected to the world, the recording remains pristine and free from street noise.
